The first report of the war between district SP and ASP, which created sensation in the state came into the hands of DGP Mr. Dinesh Reddy. He informed everyone through police department that they are going to take action in four to five days. After severe examination of the allegation passed by ASP Mr. Naveen Kumar against SP Mr. Trivikram Varma, higher officials of police department ordered Eluru range DIG Mr. Surya Prakash Rao that he should take this matter to Home Minister Mrs. Sabita Indra Reddy for investigation. Later DIG informed that this case file has been closed as they could'nt find any evidence against SP. The answer for the question that the main reason behind the war is expected to be the dowry case that took place in Peddapudi. People think that police department has an impression that they will become weak in people's point of view, if they does'nt take any action on SP. So investigators think that they will definitely take action on SP.
