Eluru, Nov 19th: Tasildhar was caught red handed by Anti-Corruption Bureau while accepting bribe of 5,000Rs from a farmer on Wednesday. This incident took place at Ratnalakunta of Pedavigi mandal in West Godavari District.
According to ACB, Muthyala Narayana Rao was a resident of Ratnalakunta.6 acres of land was under the name of his father who was died recently. Narayana Rao approached the mandal Tasildhar with an application to change the property under his name, for which Tasildhar demanded 5,000Rs bribe to do the same.
Narayana Rao repeatedly requested Tasildhar to reduce the money as he could afford the money, for which Tasildhar he did not accept. He alerted the ACB and gave the bribe to the Tasildhar at his residence at Lakshmivarapupeta in Eluru.
ACB officials headed by Superintendent of police Mr.G.S.N Murthy caught the Tasildhar Red-handed and will produce him in the court of ACB in Vijayawada on Thursday for further enquiry.
