Kakinada, Dec 12th: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids on the properties of Executive Engineer Suryanarayana. He was working as EE in Fisheries department in Hyderabad. For the complaints against Suryanaraya of having illegal property ACB conducted raids on Friday.
Suryanarayana joined as N.M.R in the fisheries department and at present working as Executive Engineer. In the course of time he corrupted nearly 1 crore of Rs in the form of property. ACB conducted simultaneous raids in the state on the properties of the engineer and traced a three storied building in Atchyutapuram Panchayat near Kakinada.
ACB could also trace 50 acers of agriculture land in Hyderabad Banjarahills and 11 houses in different districts under his relative’s names. Already a corruption case was running against him in the Vijayawada court. This is the second time he was caught by the ACB.
ACB conducted raids in the house of his brother-in-law, Veerabhadra Rao and could find valuable documents pertaining to the purchase of the three storey building. The officer was under disguise. ACB inspector S. Bhushannaidu, SI Muralimohan, Sudhakar, R &B JE Venkatesh and many more ACB sleuths conducted raids.
