Deputy Transport Commissioners Office (RTO Office) near NFCL Road in Kakinada was raided by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Tuesday evening at 4pm. According to this, speaking with media persons, ACB officers explained about this raid, that the agents are charging extra amount for every service provided to the public. They said, ‘The raid was conducted due to the complaints received from the public and all the records in the office were verified’. They found Rs.17, 900/- from Deputy Transport Commissioner’s cabin, Rs.5000/- from RTO’s cabin, Rs.69, 000/- from MVO’s cabin and more than two Lakh rupees from 37 agents. ACB officers are going to submit a report on this raid to the Government very soon. ACB officers Mr. B.Ramakrishna, Mr. S.Murali Mohan, Mr. B.Srinivas have participated in this raid.
