The District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has announced that the last date of Aadhaar enrollment number submission for Cooking Gas connections is extended upto 15th of April. According to this, she had conducted a review meet with Bankers and other respective officials here on Wednesday at Collectorate in Kakinada. Speaking on this, she stated that the submission date was extended for two times in the district, so that this is the last time of date extension, she noticed. Gas consumers should submit their Aadhaar card and bank account book xerox copies to the gas delivery boys before 15th of April to get subsidy on gas. If anybody delayed to submit those, then they will loss the subsidy on gas, she noticed. She ordered the bankers to start Aadhaar seeding process directly in the district. She said, there are around 10 Lakh of gas consumers in the district, of them 25 percent of people are using their gas connections with different names. People should register their gas connections with their names only, she added. This system is very useful to provide service for the actual beneficiaries, she stressed. She also discussed about the other government projects with the bankers in this meet. Joint Collector Mr. A.Babu and Additional Joint Collector Mr. B.Ramarao were presided over the meeting.
