District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari has stated that the Aadhaar Number enrollment process for students will be completed with in 10days in the district. As the Money transfer scheme for Educational Scholarships will be implemented from 1st of January, district administration is in hurry to complete this process. According to this, Collector has conducted a meet with SC, ST, BC Guest houses welfare officers, Scholarship executive officers and other respective officials, here on Saturday at Ambedhkar Bhavan in Kakinada. The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Additional Joint Collector, Mr. B.Ramarao. Speaking on this, she ordered the officials to provide Bank accounts and Aadhaar enrollments for those students, who are receiving scholarships through post-matric method. She stated that the money transfer scheme will be applicable for around 34 government schemes. The scheme will also be implemented to the educational scholarships, she added. District Social Welfare Dept JD Mr. Vijay Kumar, BC Welfare Officer Mr. Dhanaraju, Assistant Director of Disabled Welfare Mr. Venkateswarulu, Minority dept ED Mr. Prabhakar Rao, Girijan Welfare dept DD Hemalatha and others participated in the meeting.
