Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu, here on Tuesday announced that Aadhaar for Unique Identification number (UID) Enrollment Centers will be arranged again within a week in the District. Responding to the news posted in 'Eenadu' newspaper about 'Ration card holders should have Bank accounts', he said, it is not compulsory for ration holders to have Bank accounts to get ration. Immediate action will be taken to give ration for the card holders during May month without any Bank accounts proofs, he added. He declared that no such orders have been passed to the ration dealers to stop the ration distribution for people who are not having Bank accounts & Aadhaar cards. Mr. Babu stated that upto 98% of Aadhaar enrollment process has been completed in the district. Therefore we are arranging the centers again to get cent percent enrollment from the district, he added.
