Kakinada, Mar 12th: Nine Intermediate second year students were booked for resorting to malpractices while appearing for the Intermediate Public examination in both East and West Godavari districts on Thursday. In East Godavari district seven students were caught while resorting to malpractice during the exam. Out of the seven three students were booked at Government Junior College, Samalkota and one each at Nava Chaitanya Junior college, Pithapuram, PR Government Junior college, Kakinada, Government Junior college for Girls, Tuni and Government Junior College at Addateegala.
Of the total 41,355 students in East Godavari district, only 39,564 appeared for the exam while 1,791 were absent. In West Godavari two students were booked, one each at Government Junior college for Girls, Kovvur and Aditya Junior College at Palakole. Out of total 29,049 students, only 27,758 appeared for the exam and the remaining were absent. The students appeared for Maths-II A, Botany and Civics paper-II.
