8 suspicious held by police

 Vijayawada, Dec 3rd: Railway Protection Police (RPF) arrested 8 suspicious Bangladeshi militants on Wednesday at Vijayawada railway station who were traveling in Kerala Express with out tickets. The militants were found to be the aged between 25 and 30.

    According to the police, ticket collector and the co-passengers gave the information to the police that the behavior of the 8 militants was suspicious. On high alert in the city due to Mumbai blasts, RPF and the intelligence agencies took action immediately and arrested the suspicious. A message was sent to intelligence bureau headquarters.

    Deputy Commissioner of Police, U.V.S Raju said that the accused were not having tickets with them but they were not carrying any weapons or any incriminating material. All the visas and passports of the militants were valid. He added that the militants were unable to give the convincing answers to the questions put by them.

   Bangladeshis said that they were going to Thiruvananthapuram. By mistake, they caught a wrong train to Delhi and got down at Warangal station. They could not explain the purpose of their visit. They were also carrying currencies of some states with them.
