Kakinada Salipeta Fire Station officer, Mr. V.V.Ramakrishna suggested people to take necessary precautions while lighting up the crackers on this Diwali festival. According to this, He released a press note here on Sunday. He suggested people to call 108 & 101 numbers for health & fire control services immediately if required. He stated that Kakinada Corporation granted permission for 51 stalls at Raja Tank Park area, 15 stalls at Boats club park area and 9 stalls at Jagannaickpur market area. Mr. Ramakrishna called upon the people to purchase crackers from these stalls only. If any extra stalls are found to be placed in Kakinada other than the permitted stalls, then serious actions will be taken against those stall merchants, he added.
