600 petitions to grievance cell

Kakinada, June 15th: For the grievance cell conducted at district collectorate on Monday, more than 600 petitions were received by the authorities from various parts of the district. Most of the petitions received are related to old age pensions, seeking necessary clearance for setting up units under self employment, house sites and other benefits.

 

While the petitions related to house, house sites, pensions and problems related to physically challenged are attended by District collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi, the Joint collector, Mr. Kona Sasidhar attended the petitions related to land disputes and civil supplies including ration cards.

 

Speaking on the occasion collector said that grievances cell would also be conducted at both mandal and division level from June 22. For redressal in respective municipal areas, collector asked the municipal authorities in the concerned areas to participate in the grievance cell at revenue division level or at the concerned mandal parishad office

 

On this occasion the collector along with Gas Authority of India (GAIL) distributed tricycles to the needy. The company donated tricycles worth Rs 3.80 lakh for the purpose. DRO, Mr. M. Mohan Raju and heads of various others department participated.
