Due to the lack of constables in the police stations government decided to recruit 600 more posts .The number of constables in the city is going to increase from 30 to 50 and in the mandal it is from 16 to 30. The selection procedure would be completed with in 6 months. 600 constables were already selected and few more will be recruited depending on the requirement.
Special focus on crackers manufacturing companies:
S.P said that special attention will be taken on crackers manufacturing companies. He also said that only 30 companies and 175 shops were licensed for selling the crackers. Other than this no one should sell the crackers. The selling will be prohibited from high traffic areas.
Special Security for Vijay Dasimi celebrations:
Nagireddy said that special police force will be arranged for dasara festival so that no violence will be taken place in the district. This force would be more in Amalapuram area. S.P warned that no weapons are allowed regarding this celebrations. D.S.P Avula Subbarao also participated in this meeting.
