60+ Earth Hour-2013, the global event of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) was successfully observed in Kakinada here on Saturday 23rd March, 2013. This event was organized by Nyros Technologies, Inkakinada.com in association with Kakinada Municipal Corporation, and Godavari Chamber of Commerce. District SP Mr. Siva Shankar Reddy has flaged off the Candle Light Walk Rally at Bhanugudi center 8.30pm yesterday. Speaking on this, he stated that every citizen need to support this global event, which is organized with a good motto 'save power to save earth from global warming'. Every individual must be conservative in using power and also should look after alternate resources instead of power, so that we can save our earth, he added. Nyros Technologies CEO Mr. M.N.S.Pavan Kumar, NCC Lt.Colonel Anilkumar, Representative of Brahma Kumaris B.K.Rajani and many other officials attended this program. The Municipal Corporation D.E Mr. Venugopal has supported the Earth Hour by switching off the street lights during this rally. Volunteers from NCC Cadets, Nyros Technologies & Inkakinada.com, Brahma Kumaris & various other college students actively participated in the candle light walk rally. The Candle light walk rally was held successfully with slogans “Save Power - Save Earth “ from different places like Sarpavaram Junction to Bhanugudi Junction: 4pm by NCC Cadets, Sarpavaram Junction to Bhanugudi Junction at 6pm by Bhrama Kumaris and Bhanugudi Junction to Vivekananda Park at 8.30 pm by Inkakinada.com along with Volunteers from Ideal college and public.
