The fire mishap occurred during early hours of Thursday had left 9 families homeless. This mishap took place at Ganganapalli in Kakinada Rural near to Pratap Nagar Power Substation. Accident caused Rs.3.5 Lakhs loss and 6 houses were demolished. It took place due to short circuit in one of the huts. However it was spread to the neighbor houses. As fire was spread heavily, residents could save themselves but not their basic items from their houses. Salipeta Fire Officer VV Rama Krishna along with his staff reached the incident spot. Rural Tahasildar Johnson, RI Durga Prasad and VRO G.Suri Babu also reached the incident place.
