As part of Police Constable Selections, 5K Run (Five Kilometers) was held here on Wednesday at Kakinada-Samalkot ADB Road. These selections will conducted for 18 days and daily 1000 candidates will take part. District Police Administration made necessary arrangements for these selections. On the first day of selections, 650 were selected out of 1000 candidates. SP Trivikrama Varma said this to news line here on Wednesday. In the notification released for the post of Constables earlier, 15,000 applications were received. Therefore, this 5K run will be conducted daily until 6th February but selections for women will be held on 21st of this month, he added.
