Seemandhra Students JAC and some Political Parties like TDP & YSRCP were called for the 48hrs bandh from Wednesday in Seemandhra against to the passing of the AP Reorganisation Bill in Lok Sabha, Yesterday. The Lok Sabha cleared the separation of Telangana from Andhra region after fifty-eight years of unification, here on Tuesday. The Telangana bill will be taken up by the Rajya Sabha, Today. If it is passed, India will officially have its 29th state. But it comes at great cost and bitterness. It has prompted a slew of resignations in Congress party. The Samaikyandhra supporters stated 'it is totally undemocratic, immoral and unethical'. However, the APNGO's called off their strike and decided to join their duties from Tomorrow on-wards. On otherside, sounds of cracker bursts reverberated across the ten districts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, as people from all walks of life joined jubilant TRS cadres to celebrate the passing of the statehood bill in Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy has confirmed that he will quit from his post, here on Wednesday. Seemandhra MP Mr. L.Rajagopal, who had created a storm by splashing pepper spray in Lok Sabha, had resigned from Parliament and announced quitting politics. The bandh will be observed in all the 13 districts of Seemandhra. All the educational institutions, offices, shops & other commercial establishments will remain close on this 2days. Rasta rokos, protests & strikes will be observed by the students & political parties.
