Kakinada, June 30th: In total 473 candidates qualified for the physical efficiency test on Tuesday after clearing the 5 Kilometer run for the police constable selections in East Godavari. Out of the applied 800 candidates, 654 participated in the 5km run on the second day of the program conducted at Atchampeta ADB road.
Even thought the 5km run started on time, it was delayed for some period due to rain. The candidates faced few problems to take a run in the rain. In total for the two days 1301 candidates appeared for the test and of which 920 qualified. Three candidates felt unconscious who were shifted to the hospital for first aid. They were on the grounds of recovery.
The East Godavari SP, Y. Nagi Reddy asked the successful candidates to appear for the physical efficiency test to be conducted on July 14 at the district police parade grounds.
