Union Minister for State for Defence, Mr. MM Pallam Raju stated that Government has agreed for extension of Kakinada-Kathipudi National Highway as four lines. MP along with Kakinada City MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy visited to review the progress of Sambamurthy Nagar Flyover Bridge here on Saturday. Speaking on this, Mr. Pallam Raju stated that expansion of NH216 would be very helpful. The flyover being constructed in Sambamurthy Nagar will be inaugurated by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. N.Kiran Kumar in the month of January, he added. Few other flyovers near Kondayyapalem and Port Railway crossing will also be constructed very soon, he added. Kakinada City MLA, Mr. Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy stated that the Sambamurthy Nagar Flyover was named after Mallipudi Srirama Sanjeeva Rao. R&B SE Mr. Sridhar stated that the leftover constructions would be completed by 2nd week of January, he added.
