31 percent pass in inter advanced exams

Hyderabad, June 17th: 31 percent of students passed in the advanced second year intermediate exams results that were announced on Wednesday. A total of 3, 04,061 candidates have appeared for the exams of which 95,302 cleared it. With this the total pass percentage in inter second year exams touched 74.58 per cent. This year the intermediate marks gained significance with the decision taken by the government to give 25 percent weightage to Eamcet ranks.

 

The state education board has earlier announced that it will release the Eamcet ranks on June 22. However, now it has decided to take a final decision on Thursday amidst reports that it may be advanced by two days due to its earlier announcement. Inter supplementary results were earlier scheduled to be released on June 20. After the final release of the Eamcet ranks the notification for admissions into various engineering colleges will also be announced and the process is likely to start from August.
