District Agriculture Department organized a Blood donation camp here on Thursday in Kakinada. According to this, District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra presided as a chief guest and started the camp. In this program, total 301 members donated their blood. Speaking on this, He appreciated all the Agriculture department officials, farmers and other people who participated in the camp. He called upon the people to participate in this type of blood camps to save many lives. Mr. Ravi Chandra says, total 17 thousands unit’s of blood is required to collect for the state. Later, the collected blood was transferred to Kakinada Government General Hospital & Red Cross societies. Agriculture Department JD Mr. P.Athmaramulu, D.D’s Mr. Ramaraju, Mr. Krishna Reddy, A.O Padmasri, farmers and their families participated in the camp.
