According to the Abkari Department Kakinada Superintendent orders, the dept CI Mr. G.Amar Babu, SI Mr. P.Ashok, HC's Mr. Satyanarayana Murthy, Mr. Tammarao, Mr. Buchi Raju, Mr. Mahesh and other officials conducted raids on different places in the district. These raids conducted from 10th July to 22nd July in the view of Gram Panchayat Elections. According to this, the dept officials released a press note here on Tuesday. They said that they have recovered and seized 2,600 liters of Jaggery and 434 liters of Illicit Liquor in Kakinada, Pithapuram, Prathipadu and Tuni mandals. They have arrested 27 men in different cases on on the charges of transporting illicit liquor and selling it under Kakinada Prohibition Excise limits. A total 38 cases were registered on this, they added.
