Total 228 accused were arrested during last week in various cases. SP Dr. CM Trivikrama Varma said this to news line here on Saturday. He released the weekly report of total number of arrests and cases registered. In the 19 cases registered on Playing cards, Cock Fights in 14 areas, total 87 were attested. During this arrest, Rs. 93,895/- cash, 7 Cocks and 6 Cell phones were possessed, he added. In the other case of liquor preparation, four cases were registered and 4 were arrested. During this arrest, Rs.4000/- worth 40 Litres Liquor was possessed. In the other case, Rs.10,000 worth 20 KG Ganja was possessed and one was arrested. On the other hand, 123 were arrested with respect to the Ramachandrapuram By elections. During investigation on by elections, 9 cases were filed and Rs.63,28,00 cash was possessed. In the other 5 cases, 13 criminals were arrested.
