Kakinada, Jan 23rd: January 23rd being the last day for withdrawing the nominations of MLC (Member of Legislative Council), two members have withdrawn their nominations on Friday. 12 members have nominated for the post of MLC, out of which the nomination of Mr. D.R.K Reddy was rejected by the returning officer, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi for not submitting the requisite papers. From the remaining 11 nominations, Mr. Chodisettty Dharma Raju and Mr. P Venkata Krishnam Raju have withdrawn from the elections on Friday.
JACTO (Joint Action Committee of Teachers Union) and Congress have jointly reported their support to Mr. K.V.V Satyanarayana Raju, chairman of Chaithanya Educational groups. With this support a new momentum has taken place in the MLC pools. With this the two opposite parties TD and congress are fighting indirectly in the polls.
