The State Government has released Rs. 2.38 Crores of Input Subsidy for Neelam Cyclone victims in the district. According to this, the District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad had released a press note, here on Monday. She said, the Agriculture Dept Commissionerate issued orders on this. Around 7,057 members of Farmers lost a total of 2388.29 Hectares land in the district, due to Neelam cyclone effect on Last year November month, she stated. This subsidy will be provided directly for those farmers who have bank accounts, she noticed. This subsidy will be distributed to the farmers with-in 60 days, she announced. She ordered the respective officials to make arrangements to provide the subsidy to the farmers as early as possible.
