Around 16,623 acres of Land was identified by the District Revenue authorities, for distributing to the under-privileged sections of society in the 7th phase of Land distribution in the District. The district administration prepared a report for identification of land and its distribution, addressing grievances and opening village revenue offices (VRO's) which would be equipped with furniture and other amenities. According to this, the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) Mr. I.Y.R.Krishna Rao has ordered the officials to make the land to sub divisions. Yesterday, he has organised a video conference with Joint Collector Mr. A.Babu and other respective officials from Hyderabad, on this. Speaking on this, he asked the officials to complete the setting straight the borders and other such requirements for the identified land. He also noticed them to arrange a name board in those lands by writing 'This is Govt Site'. He ordered them to clear the land issues of public, which are received in revenue meetings. Responding to this, the Joint Collector Mr. A.Babu requested the CCLA to bring the surveyors under his control, so that he could monitor the system properly. He said that the process was being expedited for redressing land related grievances. The sub-division of land will be done through the MeeSeva centers. The process of distribution, such as the identification of land, conducting surveys and setting straight the borders and other such requirements ought to be met by 15th of July and the distribution will begin as per the government's instructions.
