Kakinada, Mar 17th: 14 intermediate second year students were booked for resorting to malpractice while appearing for the intermediate exams in both East and West Godavari districts on Tuesday. From East Godavari district 5 students were booked. Two of the students were booked from Vijaya Durga Junior College, Rajahmundry, one each from C.S.R Memorial College, Gollavilli, Sri Ravi Junior College, Kapulapalem and Government Junior College, Kakinada. Out of the 42,721 students allotted to write the exam from East Godavari district, 40,689 appeared for the exam and 2,032 remained absent.
In west Godavari, nine students were booked. Two each at Government Junior College, Koyyalagudem, Surya Junior College, Narsapuram and Government Junior College, Chintalapudi and one each at Government Junior College, Tanuku, Government Junior College, Dumpagadapa and at Aditya Jr College, Bhimavaram. Out of 30,109 students, 28,660 appeared for the exam while 1,449 remained absent. Students appeared for paper-II of Economics and Physics exam. In West Godavari spot valuation will begin from March 20th at Government Junior college, Eluru.
