Kakinada, Feb 27th: Congress government has sanctioned Rs 13 crore towards the development of the Kakinada town. PCC joint correspondent Dwarampudi Chandra Shekar Reddy has revealed this at a local program organized on Friday. As a part of the development he laid foundation stone for constructing the cement road at local Sivalayamveedi, Jaganaickpur. Speaking on the occasion he said that the government has sanctioned 13 crore of Rs towards the development programs in the town. He recollected all the development programs taken up by the congress government towards the uplift of the weaker sections.
He revealed that other development programs which include lying of roads, providing drinking water facilities, medical facilities and others will be started very soon. Corporator Gutthula Jagadamba also spoke on the occasion. She assured the people to complete the construction programs as soon as possible to avoid the problems faced by the area people. Other development programs were also taken place in the town on Friday. Deputy mayor Arigela Srinivasa Rao did bhoomi Pooja to few of the development programs relating to ward numbers 31 and 32. Gutthula Ramana, Siddhardha, Chinnababu Reddy, Srinivasa Rao and many more participated.
