119th birthday of Dr.B.R.Ambedhkar was celebrated at Ambedhkar Bhavan this Wednesday. On this occasion Dr.M.M.Pallam Raju, The Union Minister of State for Defense distributed pattas to the beneficiaries of 1.22 acres of land in Kakinada division. While participating, he said that in district, majority of people's lifes are dependent on agriculture. The State government had identified 2,157 beneficiaries for distributing 4,731 acres under 5th land distribution program he added. He also said that under his parliamentary constituency, 888 acres of land was distributed to landless people and over 25,000 acres to the eligible in the district.
The Rajya Sabha member, Ms.T.Ratna Bhai, the Minister for Rural Water Supply, Mr.Pinepe Viswaroop, The Zilla Parishad Chairman, Mr.Ch.Venu Gopala Krishna, The Collector Mr.M.Ravichandra, participated in this program. Nearly 3,950 acres was identified to distribute to 1,401 tribal's in Rampachodavaram Agency.
