Total 11,135 Ration cards have been sanctioned in Kakinada town. In the Rachabanda program conducted in the month of January, total 20,000 people applied for new ration cards. However, officers identified the eligible candidates and sent it to State Civil Supplies Department Commissioner Officer, who later passed orders of sanctioning them. Coupons useful for 6 months will be issued to supply basic commodities. Officers are making arrangements to issue this coupons in the forthcoming Racha Banda program that will be conducted in the month of November.
