Kakinada, Jan 7th: To participate in some of the private programs organized in the district, Finance Minister Mr. Rosaiah visited East Godavari District on Wednesday. Speaking to the media persons here on Wednesday at local Roads and Buildings guest house Mr. Rosaiah assured that, the issue of Satyam Computers will not have any impact on the services of 108 in the state.
He revealed that the expenditure incurred on these EMRI (Emergency Medical and Research Institute) services by the state is 95 % of the total expenditure. He said that if the situation demands the state government is ready to bear the remaining 5% and sees that the services have no impact. In the total 802 services in the state the first 70 were only provided by the Satyam Computers. Minister felt that the issue will have impact on the share holders of the company.
Minister also spoke on several issues including the separate Telangana issue. He criticized the opposition parties for making wrong allegations on the congress government. He alleged that the opposition parties are levying the corruption charges against the congress government. Kothapeta MLA, Mr. Chirala Jaggi Reddy, congress leader Venkatanarayana and others participated.
