Kakinada, Feb 6th: 108 ambulance met with an serious accident on Friday. One died and three were seriously injured in the accident when the vehicle hit the lorry approaching towards it. The patient in the vehicle died at the spot. The driver and the other two relatives of the patient were seriously injured. They were shifted to Government general hospital, Kakinada for treatment. Doctors revealed that the condition of the driver and the one of the relative was serious and should be kept in observation for few hours.
According to the sources provided by the police, patient Nagaraju (60) was an inhabitant of Vakapalli village. He met with a severe heart attack in the early hours of Friday. Kin of the patient called for ambulance to shift the Nagaraju to the hospital. When the vehicle was proceeding towards Kakinada it met with an accident by dashing the lorry approaching towards them. The accident took place at beach road near Kumbabhishekam. Nagaraju died in the spot while the other three faced severe injuries. On hearing the news, traffic C.I Murthy, S.I Narasimha Muthy reached the accident place and filed the case.
