Ramaraopeta, oct 22nd:104 medical services were going to commence from next month in the state. Out of 475 servicing vehicles, 33 are assigned for East Godavari District. This medical facility will be more useful for the people living in rural areas.
In each vehicle nearly 7 staff and 6 counters will be there. In the first counter data entry operator will take care of registrations and signature of the patient. In the second counter height and weight of the patient will be checked.. Vaccinations, blood tests, counseling regarding various diseases, Pharmacy will be available in the remaining counters.
These services will be provided for the villages which are away from primary medical facilities. Nearly 3 thousand people will be provided with medical facilities every day.
The purpose of this 104 is to provide medical facilities to the rural areas, to save the people from contagious diseases, to reduce mother & child deaths, to increase the living span of common man, providing proper medical facilities to the students and house wives.
