Hyderabad, July 21st: Farmers will have to wait for 10 more days to get nine hours of power supply. The government has initially announced that the nine hour supply would be made available from July 15. Chief Minister, Y.S Raja Shekar Reddy was told by the concerned officials on Tuesday that it would take at least a week to 10 days to implement the orders.
The CM held a review with energy officials on hydel power projects. He asked AP Transco officials to work on a war footing to tighten the hanging electric wire across roads. He expressed concerned over the people getting electrocuted after coming in touch with the hanging wires. Dr. Reddy directed AP Genco officials to complete all the ongoing as well as proposed hydel projects by 2013. The deadline is set as December 31, 2013 and it will not be extended.
