Lions Club Regional Chairman, Mr. Lingamulla Krishnamurthy had received the prestigious "Zone Excellence" award for the year 2011. He has been presented with this award in accordance with his services to the club for 2010-11 year. The award was presented by the Governor Mr. V. Vijay Kumar on Lions Club 31st Annual Convention meeting held at Gurajada Kalakshethram, Visakhapatnam on 22nd of April. All Club officials, Former Governors & members presided over the program. Speaking on this, Mr. Krishnamurthy expressed his happiness on receiving the award. He said, 'I had achieved this award because of the services for HIV affected & other poor people by conducting free health checkup camps, blood donation camps, distributing clothes & provided other necessary amenities', he added.
