Kakinada, Feb 18th: Mandal level ‘Vidya Vikasa Mela’ camp was launched at Kakinada rural mandal on Wednesday. District education officer Mr. P.R Mallikarjuna Rao inaugurated the program organized at Muralidharnagar school . On the same day the mela was launched in nearly 57 mandals all over the district. Students from municipal schools, aided schools, primary schools, high schools and others participated. Models prepared by the students in various streams were exhibited in the show.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Mallikarjuna Rao said that organizing of such melas will bring creativeness among the students. He asked the students to inculcate creative thinking along with their normal studies. He also revealed the advantages and uses of organizing melas. Later he inspected the various models exhibited by the students from 64 schools all over the mandal. P.R.T.U correspondent V.V Sastry has thanked DEO for participating in the program. Quiz competitions were also held to the students. Krishnam Raju, D.K.H.S Prakash, P. Prasad, Narsimha Raju, N. Venkateswara Rao, Rambabu and many more participated.
