Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) celebrated its second anniversary on a grand scale here on Friday. The weeklong celebrations ended with the ‘University Day' celebrations. Vice-Chancellor of the JNTUK Prof. Allam Appa Rao was the chief guest at the function. Prof. Apparao said main objective of the university was to make JNTUK an excellent institute and make its students feel proud of their academic career on the campus. He said that several steps were taken to ensure quality education to all the students pursuing education in various colleges that come under the purview of the University. Vice-Chancellor of Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati, G. Sarojamma lauded the progress of the JNTU-K in the last two years. Registrar of JNTUK Mr. V. Ravindra presented a report on the University's activities.
