Minister for Rural Water Supply, Pinipe Vishwaroop paid rich tributes to police personnel who laid down their lives while on duty and promised that he would help their families. Addressing the 'Commemoration Parade' on 'Police Commemoration Day' organized at District Police Office grounds here, Collector, Mr.Ravi Chandra had appreciated entire department for the playing their role in maintaining law and order situations in Andhra Pradesh. District Superindent of Police, Mr.G.Srinivas said that the CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (CRPF) was attacked by China in Ladakh on the 21st of October, 1959. In that, 10 of its men made their supreme sacrifice for the country and that day has remembered as the Police Commemoration Day every year throughout the country. Zilla Praja Parishad Chairman, Mr.Ch.Venugopala Krishna, M.L.A, Mrs.Vanga Geetha, Mr.Kurasaala Kanna Babu & Mr.Pendurthi Venkatesh and others are also participated. After completion of the parade, Rally has conducted from District Police Office to Bhanugudi Center. Minsiter had also appreciated Adarsa Engineering College Management for giving two free Engineering Seats for the Police Martyrs Families.
