The 'Modi for PM' campaign, which was arranged by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held successfully in Kakinada, here on Monday. The BJP Senior Leader Mr. M.Venkaiah Naidu has presided over the program, which was held at Sri Venkateswara Open Auditorium in Kakinada from Afternoon 1pm on-wards. Mr. Naidu had received a warm welcome from the party representatives, members & supporters here. Addressing the large number of public in the campaign, he stated that 'Narendra Modi is the only hope for the country'. He expressed the hope that the BJP would come to power in the coming general elections by crossing the magic figure of 272. He called upon the people of the district to give BJP all the three parliamentary seats to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. Speaking on the bifurcation issue, he said, Telangana was in the agenda of BJP but the party cadres had to resort to protests as gross injustice was done to Seemandhra in the process of bifurcation. A huge development programs will comes to Seemandhra only with BJP, he stressed. Later, he had released the district official website of the party here. Former Union Minister Mr. U.V. Krishnam Raju, other leaders Mr. Bikkina Visweswara Rao, Mr. Devavarapu Srinivasa Rao (Vasu) and many others participated in the program. A motley crowd of public attended this program. The youth in the district seems to be evincing interest in the campaign.
