Dr. P. V. Ramesh, State Principal Secretary for Health, Medical & Family Welfare department, has stated that the Government of AP is going to conduct 'Maarpu' program to give more effective health services to the public in the state. According to this, he had conducted a video conference through 'Mana TV' from Hyderabad with all the respective officials. District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad, Additional Joint Collector Mr. Ramarao, DRDA Program Director Mr. Madhukar Babu, Additional DM&HO Dr. Pavan Kumar and other respective officials were participated in this conference from ZP Office in Kakinada. Speaking on this, Mr. Ramesh has said that the Government has decided to conduct 'Maarpu' program in all the districts over the state. The motto of this program is to reduce rural & urban Mother & Child death rate, to the control of Nutrition less food and also to Increase the Deliveries in Hospitals. He explained about the program to all the officials. He asked the officials to observe this program and also to make it successfull in their districts.
