District Olympic Association Secretary K.Padmanabham handover a book written on Jharkand State Sports ‘Land of Colors- Jharkand’ to ZP Chairman Mr. Venu Gopala Krishna, Collector Mr. M.Ravi Chandra, S.P Mr. G.Srinivas here on Monday. Mr. Padmanabham stated that, Representative of Jamshedpur Center, Padma Shri Charles Borromeo asked to present these books to familiar people and to Chairman of Andhra Pradesh SAP Academy in District. Speaking on this, Mr.Padmanabham stated that Government has sanctioned cash rewards for the winners of the 34th National Level Sports Competitions. Sportsperson who attained Gold medal will be rewarded with Rs.5, 00,000/-. One who attained Silver medal will be rewarded with Rs.3, 00,000 and Bronze medal winner will be rewarded with Rs.2, 00,000 cash, he added.
