'Gurupujotsavam' celebrated grandly

State Minister for Stamps & Registrations, Mr. Thota Narasimham has stated that Teacher's are the Best Society Makers. He had participated in 'Gurupujotsavam' program which is arranged by District Educational authorities on the occassion of Teacher's Day here on Wednesday at Ambedhkar Bhavan in Kakinada. The program has conducted under the chairmanship of MLC and famous Educationalist Mr. Chaitanya Raju here. Firstly, Minister offered garlands to the statue of Former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, as his birthday marked as Teacher's day in the country. Speaking on this, Mr. Thota Narasimham said, teaching is a very prestigious profession in the society. He noticed that Teachers should train their students for good education along with good behaviour in the society. He said, 'i will do my best to establish Science City in district center Kakinada', according to this, he ordered Collector to check for suitable site in the city. MLA and famous Educationalist Mr. Sesha Reddy said, government schools are also having all necessary amenities and compare to private schools, the faculty is very much trained & experienced in the government schools, he added. Later, Speaking on this, Mr. Chaitanya Raju also promised that 'i too try my best to bring science city in Kakinada'. Responding on this, District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad stated that 'we will surely work to get funds under corporate social responsibility for science city and will see a good place to construct it'. District Educational Officer (DEO), Mr. Srinivasula Reddy has stated that teachers should cooperate to get good results to the district in public examinations. Later, Minister and Collector presented awards to 112 Best Teachers from the district. 71 best teachers from government schools are being felicitated in the program for their service. Education Departmental Officers, Mr. D.Nageswara Rao, Mr. Abraham, Mrs. Ganga Bhavani, Mr. Bhima Shankaram, AD Annapurna, Rajiv Vidya Mission Program Officer Mr. Saladi Sudhakar, Mr. Ch. Venkata Rao, Teachers Association Leaders Mr. Prabhakara Varma, Mr. Sathiraju, Mr. D.Venkata Rao, Mr. P.V.Satyanarayana Raju, Mr. Thotakura Sai Ramakrishna, Mr. Nagabathula Narasimha Murthy, Mr. John Ratnam, Mr. Y.Venkatraju and others participated in the program. Various Schools & Colleges have also celebrated the day in the district.
