'Ganesh Chaturthi', the hindu festival which will celebrate on the occassion of Lord Ganesha Birthday, has grandly celebrated here on Wednesday in Kakinada. This festival will be celebrated for 10days as 'Ganesh Navarathrulu' all over the country. As a part of the celebrations, huge Ganesh idols have been placed in various areas of Kakinada. NCS Group of Industries and Sri Krishna Mandir Nirman and Utsav Committee jointly organized 'Ganapathi Navaratri' celebrations at Gokulam temple in Kakinada. They have established 15'' feet Lord Ganesh idol at the temple premises. Many other huge Ganesh idols were placed in Ramaraopeta, Gandhi nagar, Jagannaickpur, Temple street, etc., areas in the city. MLA Mr. Chandra Shekar Reddy and other public servants were also participated in the festival celebrations.
