Another prestigious scheme of State Government 'Indira Gandhi Amma Hastham’ is to be started on 16th of this month in the district. The motto of the scheme is to supply specified quantities of nine essential commodities in a packet just for Rs.185 to white card households. The state Chief Minister Mr. N.Kiran Kumar reddy has officially launched this scheme on Ugadi festival and now the scheme is to be started in the district. According to this, the district authorities are going to arrange the inauguration program at Kakinada Public School grounds. The scheme will be started from Kakinada rural area first. District Ministers, MLA's and other respective officials are going to attend this program, sources said.
