Vasavi Women's Club has taken steps to eliminate illiteracy in villages and sending small children to schools. They conducted 'Aksharabhyaasam' for the mass gathering of Rayudupalem and Ramanayyapeta areas. Club Governor Raachuri Lakshmi & President Vara Lakshmi distributed books, pencils, water bottles & tiffin boxes to all the children. Mrs. Vara Lakshmi said that, there is a need for increase of literates in villages. Their aim is to make village women as literates, she added. Village Heads also participated in this programme.
